With his Bachelor Degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the University of Western Sydney (UWS), where he achieved the highest average academic result and received both the Excellence in Study Award and TCM Classic Award at the University, he practiced himself and served as an apprentice to Professor Xie Ying Biao at The third Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of TCM after graduation.
