Condensate Drain Valve

Drain-All® Condensate Drains have been the industry leader for over 20 years. The steam for the sootblower steam piping system 10 is conveyed from a steam source in the steam generator, typically a header connected to a bank of superheater or reheater surface, by means of piping 12 to a pressure reducing valve (PRV) 14. The PRV 14 is required because the sootblower steam pressure requirements are generally much lower than the available pressure at the steam source.
2A, 2B and 2C, the electronic circuit 24 includes a first integrated circuit 27 which serves to compare the signal from the probe 20 with an internal resistance of the circuit 24; a second draintrap integrated circuit 28 that is a solid state timer; an opto-isolator 29; and a triac 30. The coil of the solenoid of the valve 22 is represented at 31. Operation is as follows.

According to the Carson Dunlop training manual there are some limitations to inspecting your central air conditioning system, which are; you shouldn't test an air conditioner when the ambient air is below 65 degrees F or has been below 65 degrees in the past 24 hours, don't test if the power has been off for at least 12 to 24 hours because compressor could seize, most parts of air conditioner are not visible without removing plates etc which is beyond the scope of a home inspection and the interior cooling coil is normally not visible for inspection.
In particular, relay contact K2 closes and relay contact K1 opens when the first signal representative of the steam temperature at the source is less than the header setpoint temperature THDR, or when the difference in steam temperature between the source and drain, ΔT, is greater than or equal to the setpoint steam temperature, TSP.

Proper design and installation coupled with timely and consistent maintenance can minimize the probability of an overflow, but cannot absolutely prevent it. Therefore, our warranties specifically exclude liability for water damage due to condensate overflow, and special, consequential or incidental damage caused by stoppage of a condensate drain system.
It has an added benefit of resulting zero compressed air losses and has several different types of drain valve including- Eco auto drain valve, Pneumatic, Electronic, Solenoid, level sensor, automatic, air pipe, water, No air loss, compressed air tank and moisture drain valve.
In these drain valves, the float mechanism is not directly connected to the valve. Compressed air is air that is compressed to a higher pressure than atmospheric pressure. This air dryer auto drain valve has a flow rate of 700m3 per minute along with a maximum pressure of 63 bars.

Lubricant, metal particles, rust, and pipe scale are all separated and filtered out, but it's the drains that have to operate properly for the filters and separators to be successful in completing their task. 3-Weg Electric Ball Valve (bore >8mm):For larger flow rates, such as central heating, irrigation, compressed air etc.
The Air System Products SP Filtration Group Zero Loss Demand Drain Accu-Drain has zero air loss and is non-clogging. Some filters come with an external float drain that could also be used elsewhere in the system. The PRV 14 is used to reduce the steam pressure to the level required by the sootblowers.

It is designed as a robust condensate drain for water separators, filters or similar applications and can be used both in systems with oil-lubricated as well as with oil-free compressors. No. 4,135,542 Drain Device for Compressed Air Lines”, U.S. Pat. 2. In these drain valves, the float mechanism is not directly connected to the valve.
Equipped with ball valve filter, separated from the drain valve, with L-type structure. Trident offers a spectrum of auto drain valves to its clients that are very effective in the purification of air by removal of pollutants. The Robo-Drain RD 11 Condensate Drain features a large 24 oz. capacity discharge, isolated trigger assembly, heavy duty industrial drain, a horizontal low profile, and translucent reservoir.
The electric condensate drain valves use a Form A or Form B DIN 43650 connector to operate. The timer can be mounted on any solenoid valve with a square DIN connection, and will operate on 24, 120 and 230 volts AC. The condensate consists of water, compressor oil, dirt and other contaminants which therefore need to be periodically drained from the system to avoid damages to equipment and maintain efficient compressed air delivery.
